Hi friends! Today we have excellent news for you. The Wine Chaser has created the TWC Learning Center, a new concept to help those who wish to hone their skills and make a career in the gastronomy business, achieve their goals. And we are starting with the Integral Waiter Course! Let's be honest, bartenders play a crucial role in the food and beverage industry. They are the primary contact between the customer and the kitchen or bar, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met.
It is well known that during the pandemic, the hospitality business has been one of the most affected. Restaurants need to be at their optimal operating point in order to recover. However, the shortage of servers has pushed them to be less demanding when hiring. Most of the time when I visit a restaurant these days - believe me, I visit a lot of them - I hear a lot of complaints about poor service experiences in general. How not to help? Exactly! This is how our idea of the Learning Center was born. It is our contribution to our niche, to our community, a solution to a problem with monetary repercussions for all parties involved.
For a minimum investment of $300.00, interested servers will have comprehensive training, consisting of 2-hour classes beginning January 24, 4 days a week, from 8 to 10 am at 8550 West Flagler Street here in Miami. Financing is also offered! The Wine Chaser has collaborated with Master Wine & Cigar Sommelier Yamir Pellegrino, who is also a gastronomy expert and author. Yamir, a two-time winner of the Gourmand Noble Cookbooks & Wines Award, will lead the course.
