AVELINO VEGAS 100 Anniversary 2016, is the only Spanish wine that has obtained the platinum medal, the highest score awarded by the International Wine Awards organized in Dallas. This annual competition is one of the most prestigious in the US. In this edition more than 2.000 wines from all over the world were entered.
We couldn't be any more proud to be now humbly contributing to the big success of Avelino Vegas, a brand that's sounding loud in the city of Miami. Avelino Vegas winery is located between the villages of Peñafiel and Pesquera de Duero, a privileged place in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, partly surrounded by vineyards and with magnificent views of Peñafiel Castle.
All the wines produced by this winery, exhibit a remarkable quality standard. That said, we want to particularly reference their masterpiece since 100 Aniversario just received the highest score of the “BEST OF RIBERA DEL DUERO” Contest. This wine has been considered the best of the 94 products presented.
