At The Wine Chaser, we truly believe that hard work, loyalty, and diligence are the cornerstones of success. That is why we want to start today's post with a big THANK YOU to my co-founder colleagues, the wineries we represent, and the amazing team behind Classic Wines, our loyal partner.
It seems it was yesterday we were at Classic Wines' headquarters in Connecticut, tasting every wine being included in our portfolio. However, faced with the difficult circumstances brought by the covid pandemic at the time, we undertook this journey on this day, one year ago. As Steve Jobs once said: "The only way to do great work is to love what you do." Maybe that's exactly what has brought us here: we are entering a new stage of work with several portfolio additions, a new distributor, a learning center, a wine club, collaborating with new brands and wineries, and perfecting our work based on solid experience and resources. We are committed to bringing the best wines to you!

In 2014, the United States became the largest wine consuming nation in the world. In the last decade, consumption in America has risen steadily every year. Wine has become more and more popular across different social groups and it is taken throughout all seasons. So what is behind the growth? Wine is a social drink. It is classy, which makes it fit for many occasions where there is merrymaking. Many believe the reason for that is that it makes people lose their inhibitions and compels them to converse and interact more. Scientific studies corroborate this, demonstrating that it activates our endorphin system. It strengthens the bonds that keep humans socially coherent.
There is a lot more variety and quality products than ever before! We want to unveil some of those to you. Whenever I drink wine, unlike when I drink orange juice, I imagine a winemaker agonizing over important decisions: whether or not to depart from tradition, whether to let the grapes translate into wine naturally or to sculpt it into something more intentional and meaningful, whether or not to cater to mainstream consumer preferences... And because of the variety of such decisions, presentations and stories behind every bottle I tend to try to understand wine without measuring it up against my own (fleeting) preferences. That type of curiosity has always been my personal compass in the industry and, as we grow, continues to lead the way for our ambitious team.
On this special day, we want you to know that your enthusiasm, support and trust have been the biggest drive towards our continued growth. Thank you for being our loyal customer throughout these first 12 months! Thank you also for inspiring us to do better, giving you the best products and services is what motivates us to continuously improve our performance.

I would like to congratulate Idania and her team of professionals during their one year anniversary. The Wine Chaser truly is a hidden gem that must be known. When I wanted to learn more about wine, I went to them to receive the best education possible. Their knowledge is second to none and their paring dinners are the perfect combination that allow you to put into practice everything they teach. Learning about wines in this day in age is as important as etiquette. I am glad to have gotten to know them and gone though their course. I highly recommend it.
