Since its inception, The Wine Chaser has worked very hard to grow internationally renowned brands here in Miami. This can be a challenging task without the right distributor even if your wines are smashingly good (although this does help). Finding that synergy of intent, drive, and hard work is crucial to a healthy and successful business partnership. Brand and market development (not just product sales) should be the common goal between the brand ambassador and the distributor.
This is exactly why we are so proud to announce this collaboration. Needless to say, being on the same page in terms of business vision and ethics, when they expressed their intention to open a distribution business here in Florida, we immediately jumped on board!

In a recent conversation with Jorge Rodríguez, president of Classic Wines Florida, we learned what his motivations were in making this decision:
TWC: What motivated you to partner with TWC and create a wine distribution company here in Miami?
JR: Over the last 20 years, Classic Wines Inc. has been a successful direct distributor in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. In addition, we also partner with other distributors and currently service 35 states. In Florida, we were looking for a strong sales and marketing partner who is familiar with the local market. The Wine Chaser represented a unique opportunity to partner with sommelier Idania González and her team. Idania is a seasoned sales rep and sommelier with more than 21 years of experience in the wines and spirits industry. She has a strong knowledge of wine and excellent marketing and sales skills. Classic Wines Florida is very fortunate to have a team with the exceptional capabilities that The Wine Chaser offers us. This key partnership gives us a great opportunity to be very successful in Florida.
TWC: Miami is definitely a city with impressive gastronomy and tremendous financial growth in recent years, which has made it an attractive but also quite competitive environment. In this context, what are the advantages or strengths that differentiate Classic Wines Florida from other distributors? What brands will distinguish your portfolio?
JR: Classic Wines above all prides itself in delivering excellent customer service to our clients. This has made us successful in all our other markets and I'm sure it will distinguish us in Florida as well. In addition, Dominic Rodriguez the CEO of Classic Wines is an expert in global wines logistics and has built a sourcing network which allows us to access wine from many countries around the world. In Florida we will start by introducing wines from Spain such as Avelino Vegas from Ribera del Duero, Vinicola Real from Rioja and Anecoop from the Valencia region. From Chile we have excellent wine from Ventisquero and Korta wineries. From Argentina we are bringing in fabulous Desquiciado and Monte Quieto' lines of wines. We will also have full access to Classic Wines Global Logistics Inc.'s inventory which includes many more wines from Spain, France, Italy, South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Chile and California. We have no doubt that Florida will appreciate our selections and, in time, come to love them as much as we do.
TWC: What would be your message to all current and future customers of Classic Wines Florida?
JR: Classic Wines Florida is bringing our passion and love for wine to the Florida market to join in the celebration of life which is Florida. The mix of Latin and other cultures has infused a feel-good vibe in the state which allows everyone to appreciate the finer things in life such as family, friendships, music, dance, outdoor living, excellent cuisine and of course wine. Classic Wines Florida is excited to be a part of it and we look forward to having our customers welcome us into their lives.
